I grew up in Southampton, and joined choirs and orchestras. I hold an honours degree from the University of North Wales, and a piano diploma from the Guildhall School of Music. When I married, I worked for several, outside the musical arena, as an administrator and a computer programmer, but maintained my musical links by joining choirs and teaching. I now live in Lincolnshire as a successful performer and teacher.
I have performed in Germany and various venues across the UK, including Warwick, Southampton, Belvoir Castle, Harlaxton Manor, and Lincoln. In 2014 I won first prize with my piece entitled The Stream, since retitled 'Mourne Passage'. I've directed musical productions, and played for various performances.
My style is influenced by my Irish heritage and love of Debussy. I have pieces published at Piano Pronto, Sheet Music Direct, The Great British Bookshop, and SuperScore. I play classical, jazz and popular music, lead lead a choir and a small trio. I depp for big bands and play in a 60/s70s band. The world of music is vast! And I've aimed to claim as much of it as I possibly can.
